I found this in that yahoo article funny
"Last week’s staggering data breach at National Public Data put personal data, including the Social Security numbers, of billions of Americans in the hands of cybercriminals."
Not sure when our population went into the billions

The worst part is how they have all your info for an acct but you still have to set it up, these companies are scum just like the hackers really.

Yeah I think the records are actually multi national because a background check can be performed on non-US citizens too

Guess I'm not in it, I've had tons of background checks too so that was a bit surprising. Makes sense this background test was based out of Florida though, can't imagine a place less secure for my data than Florida.

You gonna drive the van down, leave it, fly up, drive a moving truck with the taco in tow?

Related, this site is more legit than the name might have you think: https://haveibeenpwned.com/

It's built by Troy Hunt, who's a well-known name in software security. Troy collects and ingests the datasets related to different security breaches so that you can search for yourself to see what breaches you (as identified by your email address) were personally involved in.

Has anyone been out to Sand Hollow?
Going to be up there in a couple weeks with the gf, and interested in running a few easier trails.
    Found this guide: https://www.jeeptheusa.com/sand-hollow-for-wimps-30.html
I have no experience in dunes, and limited in sand overall, think I'll be fine just airing down and going for it?
I'd rather not end up in a MORR video lol

I checked this and the are multiple entries for me. However, the entries are so wrong that it's hilarious. Like my childhood phone number and old addresses.

Honestly it's good to have them frozen all the time anyway. Costs nothing. Also that freeze page on the Transunion site was built by my team and I.

    I'm not affected it appears.

Another perk of when I worked for TU was that I got creidt monitoring (their paid service) for free. Apparently they don't revoke it either so even though I haven't worked there in 3 years I still have it.

It feels inevitable really, that at some point it's going to happen to everyone to one degree or another. Knock on wood I haven't had anything big happen to me besides having my debit card # stolen a couple times. I think the worst they got me for was around $5k before I realized it, someone used my money to pay off a sketchy auto loan in Texas some years back lol. Luckily Chase has always been good about reimbursement after they look into it.

Yes, but it also asked for the name of the street I was born on and my mother's maiden name so I knew it was extra legit
