    Bypass tube layout.

Are you still on "free bleeds"?

    Performance Series

    5/8" tubes?

If I had a place to pull my shocks apart and "play" with valving, it would be cheap, however my current home does not permit me the space to do medium to major work on the truck nor space to pull my shocks apart and play.
I have to pay for revalving/shock rebuilding.

Hopefully soon we will have a new home that will allow that.

That part definitely sucks. I remember a period of time yanking them in my driveway and working on them in my basement

we use to have a large house out in the sticks, but wife took a new job that required more driving and I started a new Medical Device company and I had to be closer to the airport. So this little old house that was a rental is home.

But that is changing. Cant wait to get a bigger house on acreage.

FWIW, I was reading "bleed" as piston bleed. I didn't know there was another bleed in the shocks.

It's a King thing. They offer different "bleed" holes on their nylon bypass check valves.

Fox does not. You can of course drill a hole into the check valve but it's not a standard thing.

Unpopular opinion, the 5/8" bypass tubes on a King Performance Series do not offer enough bypass flow for good ride quality & performance.

    ESPECIALLY in their "staggered" layout.

Staggered as in one shorty and long tube layout?

Copy. I have Fox and all my vehicles have Fox.
My rear shocks are 2.5-18" stroke with only 2-long bypass tubes (1 comp, 1 reb) so the shock is almost just a smooth body. I've been fighting dead loss in my cooler the entire time I've had the truck from a violent rear. Started at double stack 15's and revalved all the way down to single stack 10's and I'm back at double stack 15's with both bypasses closed and I finally think I have it. Plus I found I have to drive faster for it to be smoother.

Also probably an unpopular opinion, but all bypasses should have a trim tube in the bump zone. Especially for leaf spring setups.
