The Goodyear Wrangler MT-Rs. Its a skinny 35", now discontinued.. They are getting pretty lean too. Had them two years. The are a great off road tire but do not hold up well daily driving, which may be why they are DQd.. I am hanging on as long as I can lol..

You can always order from simple tire…I’ve used them twice and both times the tires were at my front door in like 2 days.

Oh hell yeah I’d wait years for those then

I was about to buy a set of Wildpeaks but rumor on the street is they’re working on a AT4W so I’m trying to wait for that.

So I upgraded to tow mirrors.. they vibrate a little but the view is fantastic. Apparently they all suck a little so I am living with the little shake they have.

How did the TTX lower ball joint install go? Since you didn't mention any issue I gather there were no problems.

This poster had some real issues and yours seemed fine.

Yeah mine have been doing great. They went right in, no problems. I grease them when I change my oil. Installing Long Travel this weekend so the lower arms will be coming out, then I will inspect them closer. I will let you know what I find. Trying to find which part number I ordered.

Thanks. Not discounting the failures I have seen and there have been a few I plan on giving these a try when the time comes. And maybe i am just a victim of the marketing blurbs that go along with the TTX products. Its also human natures that if something doesn't go well you tell 10 people. But if it goes right sometimes no one or very few. This can overweight the failure rate. So far i have I have only found a handfull here and in other reviews of the TTX ball joints.

I plan on getting the complete TTX lower control arms and the upper ball joint products. I have a set of takeoff sport springs on a set of Bilstein 4600's ready to go in at the same time.

Since the upper control arm is as mentioned sort of an idler I gather both the ball joint and the associated bushings which are free to rotate (unlike the lowers) the uppers tend to last a whole lot longer.

Yeah idk. After Market UCAs were one of the first upgrades I made so I never messed with those ball joints. Ball joints are going to fail sooner or later. I really prefer Uniballs, they will also wear out but are easier to change imo.. I would bet the guy in that post you shared they received the wrong ball joint in the box or something as it should be pretty straightforward. I think those TTX lowers look pretty good, and if I hadnt just bought my Long Travel setup I probably would have given them a try as well. They are priced well and I think are as good as or better than any of the other aftermarket OEM style options.

So a lot of my front suspension components were pretty beat up, but the TTX ball joints were still tight, so I would give them a passing grade. Would definitely give them another shot down the road if I needed to..
