It's the cart that gets me 300' and it would be back on the sidewalk.

People at Walmart crack me up, there was five vehicles all parked on the sidewalk on Monday, the curb is flush so people who are loading aren't impeding traffic.

I'm waiting for the day you can drive your vehicle thru the aisle at the grocery store.

If you spin his truck 90 degrees, it is a perfect parking job. LOL

It's the shopping cart that's really irking me. Can't stand that crap. Just no respect for the people who work at the store and have to gather those things up. Too often lately it seems like that person is an old guy who ought to be at home enjoying his golden years but is still working out of necessity

Agreed. If you look just to the right of his truck you will see that there is a cart drop-off place right there. About 30ft away. This was an older guy, I didn't see a handicap tag/placard but it's possible he had a handicap license plate. I stood there for a minute watching him load up his groceries because his parking job was so ridiculous. Then when he just hopped in without putting his cart back I decided I needed to snap a picture. Sure, I guess you could argue that he isn't taking up any other spots but it still seemed silly that he didn't at least try to park in a stall.

I think it's hilarious when people park as close to the gym entrance as they can, so that they don't have to walk too far to go exercise.

Realized today that I'm married to an asshole parker.

Not sure if you can faintly see the line directly below the middle of the car. Her justification? We weren't going to be there very long and she had to be in the shade.

Because the driver is disabled

I have disabled tags on my lifted truck and my sports car because I am disabled.
    When I acquired my disability, my love of automobiles didn't just disappear :facepalm:like wtf . . . . .
I get the most shit, from others, when I drive the sports car, despite having to roll out of it and turn myself back into the driver's seat
I flipped off the last guy that gave me shit because I am sick of it

My doctor signs my application because every step I take results in searing pain in my legs - some days it is extremely hard to walk, other days I appear fine. Frankly this is none of anyone's business - how would you like random strangers questioning your medical situation in a parking lot?

If you have an issue with this, look at what your state allows re: handicap parking
You will see that there are lots of disabilities that may not be readily apparent
There are lots of us that look not/old and relatively okay; just because we aren't geriatric or obese doesn't mean we are fine

My wife used to have people stop her in the parking lot, block her car and threaten to call security/bylaw/police because she was 35 with a disability tag. They thought it was fake. Like, cool that you care, but just move on. No one is faking a tag to get a better parking spot... Actually, humans suck so that's probably and actual scenario... But anyway... These are almost assuredly the same people who park out front with the hazards on saying "I'll only be a few minutes".

I understand doing this for people who don't have the tags but if it's there, it's there. The doctor agreed enough to hand it out. And you know what? Even if the doctor is shady and the person is fine, they still have it. Move on.

That's not your decision to make. Most people shouldn't have/don't need a $120k Ram TRX or a Raptor 37 or a TRD pro, but they do.

That is not your call, period.

I have difficulty getting into/out of my car but I can do it - I have to pull myself into my truck but again, I can do it.
Neither of these issues impair my ability to actually operate the vehicle so your assertion of "cause crash" is absurd.

Not to mention who says the driver is the one who owns the vehicle..I've mentioned my college friend before here driving with a handicapped plate, the car belonged to his aunt. He never used the parking unless he was with her or getting her somewhere because he had honour.

Or gee maybe it just recently happened (the disability) and one didn't just get a new vehicle that was more comfortable, conforming, whatever whatever.

Maybe I'm wrong but I surmise few if any medical professionals are willing to risk sanctions by lying to get someone a placard or plate.

Nowhere near your situation but I had a right knee injury that made it a mother to take stairs or get into any vehicle for a few weeks..I had to grab the cuff of my pant leg, lift with that and place the leg in the truck. I had a 4x4 Chevy Colorado which sat quite a bit higher than my current truck of course. Once I got into the truck I had no issues driving because I didn't have to bend the knee. Still, nobody else's business.
