After some rains in the ATL, it was time for some velcro dirt.

Refreshing to still be able to ride a place with no pedal assist. Boise can use some rain but thankfully, the smoke has cleared. On a gear related note, the 800ml Fidlock is great (if it fits your frame that is).

I see you already got a bike for your girl. Just wanted to let you (and others) know about the Co-op (REI) REV series. We just got the REV24 for our 10-year old. She loves it and def doesn't break the bank at $440. REI lets you trade in the REV bikes when your kid grows out of it for a new size. Not a bad deal for those growth-spurt-inclined kids!

That’s pretty cool that REI lets you swap REV bikes.

Trek has a similar program for their kids bikes. Pretty sure there is a 1 or 2 yr limit, but still some insurance. My son is only 2yrs younger than my daughter. Buying decent bikes for her typically results in a BOGO scenario for us. The Trek shop only being a few miles from my house is a plus.

Envious of yall. I'm tapped out. Maybe one ride a week, but cant muster more than 5 miles and 800 feet without feelin it the next day. Also dont know where I'll live after graduation in december so selling my bike stuff now would make moving easier + lots of places I wouldn't need a 170/170 if I am riding. Heavily considering getting a moto. Can pickup semi acceptable and reliable used motos for 4 grand. And that's what I can hopefully get for the Firebird lmao

Depending upon where you end up, you may want your bike because there are far less moto spots than biking.

I worded improperly. Should’ve said street bike oops. A naked sport bike like an fz07 sounds great. The whole dirtbike thing I already tried and struggled getting past having to move feet around so much since mtb the goal is feet on the pedals 100% of the time lol.

or I just keep eating pain killers like fruit snacks and ride my mtb til my liver fails

All joking aside, you might focus on getting a job with great healthcare benefits so you can get a proper knee replacement!

edit: remember it just started hurting yesterday

Still my favorite Tacoma. I took the running boards off which improves the stance in my opinion.

Here’s my T100 ten years ago. I sometimes regret selling it. Leaned up against it is my Klein Mantra. I don’t really regret selling the bike. 50mm of travel and awkward geometry. But back in 1997 it felt pretty special. I got $400 for it in 2015 from a guy who had owned one and DID regret selling his.

Taking the running boards off = redneck lift.

I have a Ram 2500 and took the running boards off, looks so much better and doesn't clog up with ice and debris in the winter. Only problem is my wife is rather short.....

I'd sell my TRD Pro before I'd sell the 01 1st Gen.
