Is it true that 'Taco, Tundy, and another Yota (can't remember which one) are currently in a stop-production status? I heard this last night but can't remember where.

Props again at least to Sheldon for acknowledging & discussing ongoing quality issues with a random YouTube performer. Explaining the process of fixing existing QC issues has to be a far more uncomfortable experience for a Toyota engineer than explaining why they rarely ever occur in the first place. Hopefully they correct course quickly b/c the truck underneath is a winner.

Exactly. It's no mystery why the grill shutter issue disappeared from the early production trucks. They recognized the problem and fixed it.

 

I skipped around and listened to different parts. I didn’t hear a lot of substance. I didn’t expect that I would.

 

I found the part about the fuel range algorithm quite revealing.

 

It isn’t like it’s using weight, gps, temp, humidity and other factors to forecast range. It just starts off conservative then tightens up the predicted range based to past history. There’s no AI magic.

Except it didn't. The issue is still showing up in reddit posts and FB groups. In my opinion, people who believe they don't have one of the trucks that will get it are wrong, they simply haven't got it yet.

5' bed only looks like. Annoying.

 

I feel like I read it some where on here. You have 3 screens on the 24. Screen 2 I keep as the tire pressure but once every few days it changes on its own to the trip meter. I am at my dealer this am and mentioned it they said they haven't heard of this. Mind you I come from a small place and there might be only 5 around town.

 

I have been waiting for mine to change but over the last week all 3 of my custom screen options have stayed exactly the way I programmed them.

 

Is you tire pressure one of the screens I think it's the only one that changes
