Being CF that's gotta be nice since it's super lightweight

 

I have the standard carbon weave full brim helmet. Yeah its lightweight, I think the fiberglass is still lighter. But the carbons take way more of a beating.

this new one is forged carbon and has a full mpis system

 

On a fun note, this semester ends Saturday, next one starts Wednesday, so that's awesome

Our management is pretty big on safety really

 

They're just not very big on extra lawsuits

 

I mean we're small enough the CEO knows who most people are, and honestly, who wants someone to get hurt or die

 

Safety costs money, and money spent on employees is no longer profit... And less profit means less value for shareholders, and less value for shareholders... Well now that's just unthinkable. But you're right, they don't want you hurt, but they'd prefer if you could stay healthy and safe without spending money on you.

 

Privately owned though, up until Monday there was like 100 of us total in the company.

 

Exchange shareholders with owners then. Still unthinkable but in the right circumstances edible.

If you feel safe and valued then that's good. Actually that's gotta be pretty rare for the red tape guy.

 

Safety issues usually comes down to people being stupid anyway

 

True, but other peoples stupidity can still hurt you

heck we haven't had any company employee injury's for years, just other contracting company employees doing stupid shit.
