My 37’s and bead locks come in at just over 100lbs a corner. My bead locks are 35 and the tire is 70. In sprung weight is a big deal that is often over looked. I think the general rule of thumb is for every 5lbs gained or lost it’s 1hp

many other beadlock manufacturers are 40's plus, methods tend to be on the lighter side.

I'm sure it's fine though, I've run some heavy wheel tire combos before. I haven't weighed my full tire package yet but with the 39s I'm sure it's gunna be a lot

“Fine” is a pretty relative term. The amount of rotational torque becomes a thing very quickly with weight. Rotational torque from a heavy wheel and tire is 100% going to be detrimental to the longevity of driveline components.

With that said, I’m 4 years deep on 37’s without a failure.

I think the tire weight probably matters more than the wheel weight since the weight is further from the hub, as far as inertia is concerned. I think my old beadlocks and 37s were 110# each which was quite a lot, and I never really had issues either. I'm gunna try to weigh my new setup today cuz this has got me curious. according to the internet my wheels are 37.34lb and the tires are 87lb so that's 124.34lb total per corner!

the other issue is , those were a crazy good price....and I thought were in stock, plus the right offset I needed.
Methods are pricey, and only ones in stock, currently are -44mm offset...dats alot

it is, I figure I was shedding sprung weight by roughly 200LBS and adding a S/C soon, that 5 extra LBS on each wheel wont make much of a difference.

if i remember correctly you have to watch out on some manufacturer weight specs because the wheel weight listed doesnt necessarily include the ring.

Ring and hardware for a lot of them aren’t included. The bolts alone add up a ton!

Actually there was no smell. Which makes me think it’s just dirty and not burnt. Which is a good sign.

Black is cooked, sheared out oil. Probably not far off from getting the gag reflexes going. I almost puked when I opened my fronts this year.
