Utility Taco dog platform

Since my son’s too small to ride in the Taco, it’s usually just me, my wife or my dog.

Made a little platform for my dog. How do you like it?

 

I would put stiff rubber "flapper" or hinged wood (in case he steps on it) at front facing up at an angle. When seat is moved forward it would drop and seal.

Not sure what you mean but even if sits at the very front, its solid doesn’t move. Thought about adding a 3rd leg in the middle but it’s plenty without it.

 

I do not know if the seat will be moved by someone else when the platform is in use. Move the seat forward ... you have a gap for doggo to step into.

 

Ah. Yeah, no one’s moving the seat and even if you do it isn’t much of a gap.

 

You asked for opinions. I am a "safety factor of 5" sort of engineer at heart.

 

Anything beats him trying to stand on the little storage lol

 

Nice, and not only for the pup... but for anything that makes sense...
This one is a half platform, the other side can still be used as the jump seat.
I keep it in there all the time.
