Got this Geissele set laying around, would be for an 11.5 or 12.5 build.

I currently have 14.5s, 10.5, and 10.3. Trying to decide if i should build it or sell it.

I have an 11.5 and enjoy it but with what you have a 12.5 might be nice

12.5 still pretty accurate at 100? I mostly shoot at 50, just a casual fun time shooter, but i do want my rifles trusted to and beyond 100

I’ve shot out to 150 no problem so far with mine. Off hand, non magnified optic and I’m no great shot

I actually passed on an opportunity today to go shooting at a buddy's private range in Shelter Valley Ca. I "had" a whole list of stuff that needed to
be addressed at home. I got 5 out of 6 "to do's" done, if stuff backs up on me I just don't like it. This is one sweet range, covered shooting area. Targets up a mountain side
to 500 yards. In this weather target limit is to around 150 yards in case of fires. Weather permitting, I can hit 400+ yards all day long with a couple of my rifles. Anyway, I just washed my 4Runner yesterday!

My “go to” rifles are an 11.5 and 13.9, the 11.5 I don’t have a magnifier behind the optic but get reliable hits with my crappy eyes on 66% steel torsos at 200+ yards (visually it looks like a full size torso at about 330 yards) and the 13.9 has a Vortex 2-12 FFP and it’s very easy to get hits past 200 (longest I’ve shot is about 350 as it’s difficult to get longer shots in my area.

Pretty much any quality 10.5-12.5” rifle will be accurate to 300 or farther, your biggest factor is velocity.

My 10" 6.8spc is the most accurate AR I have. It has a Lothar Walther button rifled heavy barrel. Barrel quality is the key. Barrel length shouldn't make a difference

Sighted the 300wm and new leupold in today. Gonna bitch for a second. For the damn cost of a new leupold, you’d think they’d include the fucking Allen key (.05 so it’s not exactly laying around in everyone’s tool box) so that when you’re sighting it in you have the tools needed to do so.

thankfully I got bailed out by the RO who had a birds nest of Allen keys in a pelican case

Man I should have snapped a pic.

the one cool thing he did was he had a couple small magnets mixed in with the Allen keys so that they all held together in a mess, but weren’t gonna fall out if you bumped the case.
