I am so very sorry to hear this. My Mom lost her 5 year battle with Melanoma at age 66 (back in 2004). Far too young. Fuck Cancer!

 

Just got my truck back from my mechanic , it has been there for 6 months . My mechanic sent the supercharger to a shop that specializes in rebuilding them . After many calls from my mechanic and myself to figure out out what's taking so long it finally was shipped back to my mechanic

Driving my truck back home you could definitely tell it was making boost

Happy Friday, everyone! I've been busy all week, lots of catching up to do. Work has been a 3 1/2 ring circus all week, literally 10's of thousands of $$ in material being scrapped because of some bad drawings that got into circulation.
The firewood truck is moving under its own power, so I can start on the small connecting deck that should have been finished 3 months ago.

My condolences to all that have had loved ones pass away and for those that are fighting the black dog.

I wrote this a little over six years ago when my son was only a few months old. Being older parents my wife and I didn't really have any help with the baby the way younger parents do. So it was a very stressful time for both of us. The original song was much longer but I scaled it down otherwise it would've been a ten minute novel. I'm not a professional musician or song writer so be kind

@vssman did you pen that bit about pets waiting to go over the rainbow? I read it to my little Leah each night now, although she is happily running around again. It's just tough that she got used to sleeping on the bed, but jumps from there probably resulted in all her spinal trauma.
