Been sitting on these since January - new brake lines went in yesterday. Along with some new brake fluid.

My neighbor is an engineer with a company truck. He does absolutely zero wrenching on anything he has.

He has seen me work on dozens of vehicles, and now he sees me tinkering at least once a week, usually 2-3+ times a week. Especially with everything I am working on sound wise. He made a comment about a week ago… so I said… “do ya have a minute? Come here…”

We sat in the truck for 30-45 minutes with me serving as DJ and him asking… “do you have this…?”

Yesterday, I way lying under the truck bolting up the new skid plate and just heard him chuckling.

(his son had a 2nd gen AC)

    Honestly, if I don’t slow down, I’m gonna need a support group.‍♂️

What’s the worst thing that could happen, someone rear ends you and launches boards through the rear glass and into your head?

Or the lumber scatters and becomes a jump ramp so the following vehicle lands on top of the truck?

I just want to make it clear, that’s not me! I would have opened my rear window shoving them against the windshield so I would only have 8 or 10 feet Cantilevered off my tailgate, oh yeah a tiny faded shop rage taped on the end for safety

SmartCap installed, so much room for activities! Now need to go cold turkey on mods for at least 6 months.

To be honest, I still need to install the pop lock and front recovery point I have already in the garage, so no new, not yet purchased mods for 6 months. But a roof rack is in order after that.

Toyo Open Country 265 75 r16 tires FN Countersteer Type X, 16x8, 0 offset Front clip PPF, ceramic coated.
Added Rokblokz mud flaps, regular size for a bit extra protection as I went with 0 offset wheels and 265/75 R16 AT tires. Also improved tire clearance of front fenders compared to OEM mud flaps.

If ARB, there are posts of tips and cautions ... nut-holding rods for awkward placements and other advice.
