Just unlisted the FZ1. I am getting no inquiries about it so time to pull it off and maybe wait to list it again next year. I wasn’t even getting lowball offers LOL. Just not a desired motorcycle and very underrated. Wasn’t really wanting to sell but would have at the right price. Time to put some miles on it as soon as the weather clears up.

I feel like the market is cooling overall right now for used motorcycles. I'm seeing a lot sitting that would have been deals the last few years and a lot of prices getting chopped across the board. I haven't gotten anything on my S1000XR despite being the lowest priced one by at least $1000 in a 500 mile radius.

I'm a cheap fuck that uses an angle grinder and a punch to shorten up chains.. but I do have a chain press for squishing plates back together when I go to put a new clip-on master on.

Grind off the rivet head and punch it out, eh? Good to know that’s an option

I’ll try to study up on the ute tube before I get out there, I just despise watching instructional videos when I have an actual task at hand

just a couple of things tbh
Most incorrect statement I've heard... Did someone let Gramps go off his meds again?

Here is the thing with gear I have no issues with buying it. I just haven't bought a jacket I have liked .. I have tried on so many different ones and they just don't fit me right... So I have yet to buy another jacket. Riding jeans ya those are a hard pill to swallow but I do like how they look and use to have a pair until honestly no clue where they went! But I'm also not trying to look like a damn power ranger out here and sweat my balls off in 100 degree heat with 95% humidity to heeeelll with that!

Also talking about me buying my other bike that was money from selling one of my bikes that was set aside strictly for another dirtbike....

    Alllrighty then

Also knowing my health issue luck I won't have that amount but I be here for now.

OMG guys. Who gives a shit what you wear. It’s all personal choice in a free society. I am Atgatt and that is my choice from experience. Who am I to tell anyone what to wear or do?

And yes I am older at 56. If I produced a kid the first time I had sex they would be 40 years old. So to me yea anyone 40 and below are young to me. Not kids by any means but young to me. Live your life make mistakes, learn from them and move on.

Also if your reasoning for not wearing gear is the way you look than maybe you have other problems to deal with. I don’t know why you would care because no one else does.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I got so "image aware" with my Bates leather pants that I had the bell bottoms "brought in" to a "boot cut". They are still a bit of the "hip hugger" style waist, but that doesn't show with the jacket on.
Did I just "date" myself? ;-)

Of course in my “still looking” for a bike I found another great candidate. I found a 2012 Honda cbr1000rr in beautiful condition with 7000 miles in a killer white blue and red. Has a pipe and tune. Aarrgg anyway made an offer and talked with him a bit. Just waiting for his response to the offer. I know it’s a 1000cc but damn the 2012 Honda cbr1000rr is supposed to be one of the most comfortable supersports and super reliable. None of the electronic aids and no abs. We will see what happens.

That's a great bike. I had an 08 which is essentially the same bike/engine. Lots of aftermarket support, easy to ride bike. It's fast, but not like the zx10r you had. There's a reason they were so popular at the Isle of Man

For some reason I thought you would like this bike. I absolutely love it and I am hoping he takes my offer. He is thinking about it.

I couldn't imagine you not liking it, if you're looking for comfortable and very neutral riding. It's still fast AF tho. I was a huge huge Nicky Hayden fan and when he went to Ten Kate Honda in Wsbk I was stoked, but the bike just wasn't quite good enough to compete at the top. Honda never did quite enough to make it a contender in high level racing, but it was always a great street bike.

I agree!! I think it will have just enough power to keep me satisfied and comfortable enough that I can ride for 150 miles easy. I love Honda and the look of the cbr1000rr. My first liter bike type was the 2000 cbr929rr which I loved. I am really serious about this one and will do what I can to procure it.

I have one bike you might be interested. It's a 1976 Honda 750 in not running condition. It could be a good replacement for your 750 .

Sure, I bought the bike a few months ago to restore it, but I don't have enough space to work on it. I've got some new replacement parts, such as carb kits, rear and front brake pads, fuel petcocks, and carb kits. I was going to sell it on Facebook Marketplace, but summer is almost over; I might do that next summer. I've suggested to the guy who lost his 750 in a fire accident, thinking maybe he wants to build another cafe racer. You can PM in you want more info or a video or price set.

    The 750 was a 2011 GSXR 750 and nothing like a 76 Honda 750.
