USAA. Great customer service, a variety of services under one roof. No physical locations though.

X2, I can vouch for USAA and I can say they are the best organization I have ever dealt with.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Local credit union. I have an account with Wachovia, but only so I can transfer funds in to my IRA.

Im surprised nobody has yet said they bank with SunTrust. I bank with SunTrust, and havent had any problems I am also a member of a local Credit Union. I just do the simple stuff like checking with SunTrust for convenience...everything esle as far as loans, savings and what not go through the Credit Union

I have my checking accounts with Bank of America because of convience...They are nationwide, have a good online website and I can always find a ATM just about anywhere. I never had any issues with them, free checking accounts that include free checks.

All of my savings accounts are with Credit Unions...I have an account with Safe 1 Credit Union because they are local (Bakersfield area). My wife's car is financed thru them at 2.9%.

I also have savings accounts with Golden 1 Credit Union, 1st United Credit Union and Yolo Federal Credit Union. The reason I keep these open is just incase I need to get a loan thru them and they are all Northern CA outfits (my home area). I keep at least the minimum amount in the savings so I don't get charged fees.

EDIT: My mortgage is thru Chase. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! Before Chase it was with WaMu and I never had any issues. When it went to Chase it went to HELL! They have tried charging me service fees, late fees (I've never been more than 5 days late), fees for statements! Only reason I keep it thru them is because of the interest rate. It's not worth refinancing to a new company.

USNMFCU (United States New Mexico Federal Credit Union). I really have nothing bad to say about them. One awesome thing is that about a year ago someone somehow got a hold of my credit card info and put about $200 of fraudulent charges on the card. They refunded the money no questions asked.

Wachovia. my parents have been with them as long as i can remember so i dont know how long its really been.

and i have been with them since i was 15 i think. but i only have a student account so doesnt really do much.
the bad in student accounts is that you do not earn interest. so all my money is doing is sitting there.

    USAA FTW!!!!

Been with them for about 5 years now. The Customer service is awesome, rates are awesome, products are awesome and well if anyone is in the Military I would highly recommend you switch to them!

I switched to them from BofA and never looked back. Various dealings with BofA prevents me from recommending them to anyone.
