What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I am old school and love Maguires products. I've been using them since the early 80s. Good stuff.

 

No but I my have to look that up. I've been Using the Gold class wash, the hybrid Ceramic wax in the liquid and the hybrid quick detail-er every few washes between waxes since new.

The wax is probably the easiest liquid wax I've used. It wipes on and dries to a slight haze in minutes, then buffs to a shine quickly with a microfiber towel. I feel like my truck even stays looking clean longer. its like the dirt does not stick as much, well that and Cement hides it well too.

 

Just installed this Body Armor 4x4 Rear Bumper & the Tyger Pauldrons Tail Light Guards on my Tacoma. Some much needed defense/protection on the rear/back.

I’m thinking about hitting up that shop if I ever decide to get a lift installed.

 

Everyone up there is great , I definitely recommend them. They installed my GFC that day in the picture. Once I figure out which HC rear bumper I want I will be ordering it from them and they will be installing that as well.

I’m down in South Carolina and it was definitely worth the trip up there.

It seems like the tail light guards would contribute to more paint/body damage if they are hit.

 

Do the MAF too while you're at it. The truck will hesitate a time or two after when you go to start it after, but it makes a big difference in throttle response once cleaned.

Changed the oil.

Got all the major maintenance items outta the way between 60-70k.

F/R Diff fluid, xfer case liquid gold, trans fluid, brake pads/fluid, couple tire rotations, couple oil changes, wiper blades, air filter, cabin filter, checked torque on u joints/u bolts, bed bolts

I should be sitting pretty to not have much maintenance this winter besides an oil change or 2. Glad I spread this out over the spring/summer.

I have to hit my exhaust with another coat of VHT before it gets too cold, but aside from that I'm good
