Goddamnit I came to post what Monte already said. How dare you beat me to giving advice.

 

I knew it seemed like a good idea for a reason. I ordered another dif seal with the transfer case seals and stake nut so hopefully it will work better next time

 

All poo bumper went on today, and then ended up in the land of Toyota's.

I don't completely hate it the more I see it. The fact you don't like it only makes me want to keep them more.

 

Shame on me for not paying closer attention, but also shame on Rock Auto for listing 5-lug corner lights under an engine that only comes in 6-lug trucks.

 

I'm pretty certain 5-lugs got 2rz's, 3rz's, and 5vz's, albeit mostly 2rz's

 

5-lugs got 2RZ, 6-lugs got 3RZ, both got 5VZ. That's what I've read all over this site and I've never seen anything to contradict it.

 

You are correct. No 6lug got a 2rz and no 5lug got a 3rz.

 

Canopy installed. Next up, suspension with @Speedytech7 and the green truck should be back to being a fun weekender.

 

Ready to get aligned! I added a 1/2” leaf shim to the driver rear, and without a sway bar it’s almost perfect on all 4 corners. Side note, I’m very anal with my ride heights, and always get it as close as I can before I reinstall the sway bar.

I also installed an OEM Reverse Light Switch and the BPV lift bracket.

Bumper painter, all new suspension in, and she sits tall but rides great with no vibrations. huge thanks to @Speedytech7 and @Digiratus for the tools and expertise to get the truck rebuilt. Now to find some 35s....

Not sold on the hoops tho

 

The only reason we kept the hoops was because you and Monte don't like them.

Truck came together pretty damn well. Will need big tires down the road to finish it, but man it's so much better. Thanks for everything this weekend!
