    You got it good.

You got an Amazon distribution center 15 miles away.

Up here in Michigan, my nearest is 90 miles.

Just moved from New Orleans where Amazon next day delivery actually means two days at 8pm and normal prime delivery does arrive in two days about 75% of the time at 8pm, the other 25% arrives who knows maybe this week.
Now I'm in New Jersey near Newark, you order stuff at noon and 1/2% the time its there at 8am. Based on delivery times I think three different trucks that deliver in our area each day.

It was really weird moving to this side of the mountain. USPS would be the only means of delivery of Amazon at the old house. First time ordering something at the new house here I get a delivered notification and a picture of my front porch in my email. Well, that was weird. Amazon trucks always in and out around here.

They come out here by way of the USPS. Occasionally the wife will order something that says next day delivery between 4-11am:rofl:
We have a sneaky Amazon delivery person then, they know to wait till before 6 or after 8:30 because we're out walking Mal. If not she goes bad sh-- and wants to eat them

They're putting up warehouses like crazy around here and its disgusting. They're taking all the farmland and forests just to build concrete boxes

I live near warehouse city, once farmland is all warehouses now. Walmart set up a distribution center 12 minutes from the house. Actually had a chance to work there maintaining the robotics, but didn't want to jump ship and was only a couple dollars more bump in pay.

They're currently building 3 1,000,000+ sqft warehouses 20 minutes away, they just built 2 by the bridge, there's plans to build at least 4 more in the immediate area.

It really disgusts me especially since they build them just to build them, a lot of them sit empty for months or years before somebody leases them

The main problem is there is a lack of people around here, so they've been bussing people out of Maryland cities to the area. Then we have a shortage of housing. Crime has risen... The amount of gang related graffiti I've removed at work is getting ridiculous. The list goes on...

My wife works for Thermo-Fischer which has a huge distribution facility in Greencastle. They can't get anyone to work.

Hah, what a small world

Problem around here is there's plenty of land to build said warehouses, but being rural the population can't support all of them.

This is an older snapshot from Google Earth of the Mount Comfort area outside of Indy.
    Screenshot_20240825-132207.png

And this is a current satellite image of the same area. All the white buildings are warehouses. And this isn't the most current view. Looking at it closely I noticed that there are a few new warehouses that aren't included in this picture. The biggest warehouse, the one north of the airport, is a Walmart distribution facility that is well over 1 million square feet.

Very small. We lived in Boonsboro for 20+ yrs. I spent three years driving for Hoffman at State Line before I said that's enough of this fun.

Heh, I'm over close to Mercersburg so all that is pretty close. Thermo is 15 minutes from the house.

Replacement carb still didn’t fix the issue. Spark plugs look nasty but it runs on starter fluid.

I don't know that much about it so I'm just asking a question. Can you see/feel/hear that fuel shut off valve solenoid opening and closing? If not, Is there a way to test it with a light or meter to see if it's getting a voltage signal when it's supposed to?

I got it started! After 4 hours of messing with it…

Added 3 gallons of fresh gas and flushed the line a little bit, replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and carb. Still didn’t run. Flushed out a little bit more gas but that still wasn’t enough. Pulled a Hail Mary and sent @koditten a message asking for him to call me. After talking with him we both decided it could only be an issue with water in the fuel. He also mentioned he wasn’t going to let me walk away from this one  Thanks again for the help!
Dumped out almost a gallon of gas and finally had clean gas. So much water in the tank!

Hit it with more starter fluid and success! After clouds of white smoke the water finally burned out of the water that was left in the float bowl.

I messed something up with the throttle linkage and luckily a high idle was enough to get the dingo to move.

Now it’s time to give the thing a full tune up and put it to work!

PS I know it’s secured all wrong. Need to add some tie down points on the trailer.
