Just want to say hi from Ct.
Sold my 21 Tundra 9.9 mpg gasaholic and got a 20’ Tacoma with only 3500 miles .
Looking forward to learning more and getting advice to customize it here.

Welcome from the next state over. You might be a bit disappointed with the gas mileage on the Tacoma but it will surely do a lot better than 10mpg. Depending on the season I average 15-20 mpg, closer to a steady 16.5-17.5.
    Good luck with it!

Welcome aboard! I also had a Tundra which definitely had some terrible MPG. The Tacoma is definitely an improvement. I average 19-21 with mine currently. What are your plans for the new ride? Let’s see some pics!

Thank You , WOW double digits .
My 21 1794 had a 4/2 Readylift w/ skinny 34’s and factory tow package ( 4:30 ) gears . Great truck but for my needs the Tacoma can do everything my Tundra did .

Same with my 21' Tundra. Pretty much the same as my 11' Tacoma.

Someone took great care of her! Love that color, was my second choice to white. Not sure I’ve ever seen a TRD OR without fog lights?

Nice Tundra…I do miss the size of the back seat.
Let me know how those fog light work out! I’ve been eye balling Diode Dynamic Elite’s to replace mine. Heard great things about both.

Is it me or does that truck look lifted?
A tip with the Tacoma and tire choices: a heavy, aggressive tread tire will rob you 3mpg or more. This truck is the most sensitive vehicle I’ve owned in terms of tire choice. I went from the OE LTX M/S 2 to a Goodyear Ultra Terrain and lost 3 mpg. I swapped those out for some LTX AT 2’s and I got my mileage back.

Welcome to TW. I went from a Taco to a Tundra and back to a Taco. Loved both the Tundra and Taco but the Taco just seemed a better fit for me. And yes the Tundra got lousy mpg but when I buy a truck mpg is about last on my list of things I care about.

It appears the previous owner must have had the TRD lift kit installed. Which comes with among other items, the fog light delete bezels and PRO grille. Nice truck and low miles for the year, congrats!

I totally agree. The only thing I miss is the large backseat much more legroom.
Very pleased with the D-dynamics fog lights.
Super easy install all plug and play because TOYOTA has the wiring harness and the switch installed on 2020 later models.
Only other thing I had to purchase which I got off of Amazon was to replace the blank fog light grills with fog light grills for about 35 bucks a pair

I appreciate the heads up on tire tread, and weight.
I’m a big fan of Mickey Thompson, Baja boss A/T’s
I had them on my tundra very quiet on highway speeds for for a very aggressive all-terrain tire
It’s funny you mentioned about the height of the truck because when I first got in it coming from a lifted tundra with a 4 inch lift. I was very surprised how high the truck sat and thought it was just the off-road suspension.
Everything seems to be OEM unless it has some kind of factory Toyota lift ,not sure.
