That's great! If you know anybody with a 3rd gen and automatic that is tired of the hunting issues, OTT is a real game changer.

Speaking of not speaking about soup. We stopped at the Wingers in Price a couple weeks ago and they had a tortilla soup that was freaking amazing

We had one but it closed several years ago. I only stopped by once in the 5 or so years I had the chance so I wasn't surprised when they closed. There wasn't a lot of options open when we were there and my wife had never been so that was reason enough for me. I can't stop thinking about that soup now.
There's a Zupas in St George with a pretty good Chicken Enchilada soup that's my go to

Yeah, it sucks cause it means a hunk of steel sits waiting on the floor

No rush I guess though, still room to park in the garage

At first I considered that the package was forgotten on a trailer at the hub or something

Or maybe, I'm right and it was left on a trailer and the truck made it all the way back to NJ :bananadead:

Very cool. Hypertherm basically invented it right?

I know Thermal Dynamics is old AF, and they've been in the business for a long time like Hypertherm, but can't say what company started it all

What I can say is that all the popular Chinese models are copycats of an old, long discontinued Hypertherm style consumable due to its long life, and great quality cuts - this was the old Powermax T series from the 90's long before the Duramax head came out. This is what my UPM-105 machine torch is modeled after.

Thing is, Hypertherm would continuously work to improve cut quality and consumable life (while also simplifying things for the end user) by developing new torch styles while also upgrading their power supplies.

No one has cloned the Duramax head, but there a few clone consumables out there which a few people have had success with. The latest is the Sync cartridge, which is an all-in-one setup that has even longer life and slightly improved cut quality than the Duramax setup. The real emphasis is longer life, and a lot less on cut quality difference.

Best part is that Hypertherm offers an adapter to use Sync cartridges on the Duramax torches so you don't have to buy a whole new system. And if you wanted a new torch, you can use a Sync torch on a Hypertherm machine that came with a Duramax torch - the Powermax 45XP I have runs a Duramax torch and I plan to stick with it for my machine torch just because.

FYI Finecut consumables don't last as long as regular cut due to the much smaller kerf width thus the torch blows out the nozzle a lot faster.

This is my friend's pierce count on one of his finecut Sync cartridges -

    Untitled.jpg

He's got a 5' x 10' STV table and he runs the fuck out of it with a Hypertherm 65Sync.

Found some winter wheels and tires for the BMW. Got a pretty solid deal they're nice hankook all seasons with tons of life and good wear and the wheels fit pretty decent although they're an inch smaller but I still kind of like how they look. Had to try them on and clean them.
