I hit mine with a 3/8 impact and it came off after a couple seconds. Sometimes impact is better than constant torque.

Have the disc on the way for the final mod but no leaks so far on the line and the clutch engagement is sooooo much smoother now.

Always seems counter productive but in my aviation maintenance career I’ve found this to be very useful

Got the canopy setup to test and figure out the best ways to put it together each time. Not too bad for $40. Its designed for open beds without a topper, but seems to work just fine with the topper too.

Get one of these best way to remote it, you hit the back with a hammer. It really helps with breaking bits or rounding bolts. I only used mine 3-4x but they are a lifesaver

Was your torx bit rated for impact? Non impact sockets are much more likely to break on a impact.

It was not. But it lasted a few minutes while in service. :notsure:</WhereIsBigHammerGuyIconWhenYouNeedHim?> You know, everything looks like a nail when your only tool is a hammer? Hahah.

It's made by dash designs and it's literally the cheapest material they offer in black. I've had it for over 5 years and it fits very well by itself. No Velcro ect. The only con is there's no cut outs for the dash tweeter grill covers. I suppose you could cut it yourself if you wanted. It's fine with the focal speakers I have (RSE-165 fronts,RCX-165 rear, very bright tweeters).

I forget where I bought it. It was purchased via a 3rd party website for like $40 bucks. They're a little more than that now. Suede is a nice material if you wanted to upgrade.

For sure, Im hoping to do a fall solo fishing trip when the temps come down, this should be nice to setup to shelter things I dont leave in the truck.
