3/4-16 thread. There's so many equivalent filters I'm not even getting into which one to pick. The YZZN1 is the one they're going to give you at the dealer.

everything was showing 3/4-16 UNF but, then it was said that the 90915-10009 and 90915-YZZN1 is M20x1.5mm per fitment..

90915-10009 is a part number that is on vehicles coming off the assembly line. 90915-YZZN1 is the correct replacement

Is it just the camera angle or is the drain plug really up high on the oil pan? To me it looks like there 2-3 inches of pan below the oil drain plug.

Tip for all - Get yourself a plastic cup to put under the oil filter housing while its draining. I cut one to size so I can cram it in there while it's draining and walk away. This results in little to no mess from the oil filter housing.

I designed this gizmo and 3D printed it off:

It uses two 3/8" neodymium magnets. Ask me in October how well it works. When I do it, I think I'll put a piece of plastic on the crossmember first.

You can find the file here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6742234

Slick! Apparently Toyota needs you on their engineering team as this should almost be a factory attachment :)

There is one caveat about this. The spin on filter. Not that my gen 3 is difficult I just prefer the spin ons. But hate the idea to invest $300 a after market adapter

Turbocharged engines burn more oil than naturally aspirated engines. I had to top mine off a few times and I haven't reached 5,000 miles yet. I had a 3.5L Ford Ecoboost work truck and it burned more than 1 quart between oil changes and truck was also brand new.

Anyone else hate the screws they use for the skid plates, I damn near cross-threaded one. Next time I'll put some never seize on them, they looked like they had a little deformation that "helps" keep them from backing out?

Some owners have been using these for quick pan removal. IMG_8692.jpg
