I scored on of those a week ago for $100 from the place that has the Old Fitz. He pulled it down today as soon as I walked in. This place does not have a crazy big selection, but does have the most reasonable prices in my area.

Stores have super weird pricing sometimes, makes no sense. If the OF10 is $400 the Weller FP should be $200.

I know. This is the same place that I got a Stagg 22A for $99 and a EHT SiB for $100. He is just really proud of that OF.

Stopped by another place today and they were asking $179 for a regular Blantons and $750 for a Russell’s 13. Crazy! I walked out with a Coke Zero.

Wholesalers base price on number of cases. For some reason, my liquor store moves a lot of Fireball. If he want’s more of the good stuff, better to place the order with the Fireball because it counts as part of the total case count. The higher the case count, the more Blanton’s and other higher end bottles come his way.

Were you able to score an Old Fitz 13 at Heaven Hill? People have been finding them there if they arrive early.

If you can make it out for an early drop at HH, Old Fitz 13 VVS is absolutely phenomenal. I had a sample the other day and was blown away. All the other Old Fitz I've tried have been not so great.

Obviously the hard part is you will never know what they are dropping on any given morning

Refreshing, I had to buy it because this was the first year it's in AZ. Definitely will open up like the one I've tried in Kentucky. I remember it being a very well balance of oaky and vanilla sweetness. Same mash bill as eagle rare but 12yo and French oak barreled.

I actually did, but only because I had previously looked it up for Ardbeg Uiegadail (Oo-ga-doll).
