yea hybrids can sometimes be a hit or a miss. @Dan8906 had a set of Cooper STT pro's that ended up chunking pretty bad in the rocks.

Mine are wearing very well. I have plenty of tread left after a couple years and a lot of miles. I didn't mark my mileage when I bought them so I can't be for certain how many.

That can go for any tire, but yeah, I won't touch a cooper for my own reasons. For something that will mostly pound pavement they should work... Fingers crossed.

It's too bad they only make E load range for 16s. They do seen lighter for their size though.

Seems to be pretty common in that size of I remember right. 63#s a tire is certainly on the lighter side too. Tried looking on tire rack to see the weight of my last 35s and it doesn't look like the G003 are even available anymore.

FWIW I have slices all over my st Maxx's and they are still performing fine with no intention to change them till they wear out. They are a great and durable tire and slices don't mean shit IMO.

Tread pattern reminds me of ST MAXX

The MT site says 64# which is still on the lighter side compared to other brands in that size and rating.

Too bad about only Es in the 315/75r16 size. Enough reason for me to avoid them. Especially when adding them to a 25#+ wheels. Loss of MPGs is already bad enough with these trucks, why make it worse with an overly heavy wheel/tire combo.

Funny you say that, truck got 19mpgs the whole trip. It does make me want to have my cake and eat it too, but I just don't the 31s look right :anonymous:

If they are lighter then might be worth it. Cs and Ds air down so much nicer than the Es.

You don't have to toss MPG in the trash entirely, I still get 17 regularly with 35s loaded for a trip and I can get more when the thing is empty (though it rarely is)

I've been running the Ranger AT/R tires from them and they've been good and get excellent traction with minimal noise. @eon_blue has the Rangers too on his 4Runner. None of us has tried the MTs yet but they've certainly caught my eye.
