I really like that. Would be great for camping or tailgating. Do you have a link or more info?

don't want to burst your bubble but those are definitely damage multipliers. instead of your tail light getting cracked, that armor is getting pushed into your tailgate skin and bedside skin. same as a bull bar.

Is your intake missing a cover? It looks like it is pulling in air from the engine compartment now instead of the from the fender outside of the engine compartment.

Over the last couple of days I have installed a 4wP front hidden winch bumper with a Warn 10K evo winch. Before that in the last month was a Fox 2.0 suspention lift with a Strong 3 leaf add a leaf.

This is on my Recently aquired 2019 Access Cab in Sand color.

Unsure exactly, but feels around the same as my LEER I had, maybe even a tad lighter.

Seems like I’m right and they don’t even need to be hit to cause damage.

FWIW I spent like 20 minutes whacking mine with one of these and that screw still didn't budge.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I had one of those...about the 2nd or 3rd time I used it, the metal band that holds the ball and spring (what transfers the force to a turning motion) broke. FJ!

That looks really nice! Do you have a thread on the build? Frame material? Sheeting material? Welded?

I followed the DIY Wedge Camper thread for ideas. I wanted to make a build thread, but I'm horrible at stopping and taking photos along the way, it just takes so much time. I have a little bit on my truck build thread in my sig, I plan to add more details later on.

Frame is steel 14ga 1.5 square tube and 14ga 1x3 tube, welded and painted in satin black with matte clear. Panels are .125 alum sheet and wrapped in matte black. I drew everything up in Fusion360, sent files off to a local shop to cut and bend the panels and corner braces. Hinges are hurricane hinges from vintage trailer parts, rest of the hardware was ordered through mcmaster-carr. Roughly $2k into the build, but it's difficult to get a solid number for the actual cap because I bought extras of things, hardware comes by the box, went through a few different types of weatherstripping etc. Still far less than buying one, but a lot of time invested.

Thanks! It's from up north, Greenlane Offroad modular bumper. I was gonna go with a C4 hybrid or the Lo-Pro (with a viper cut) but the weight and having to deal with powder coating pushed me towards this. It's all aluminum and actually weighs less than the C4 Lo-Pro. Not as heavy duty as steel but it will serve my needs just fine.

Worth it. I got a dash cover, living in Florida, and it cuts glare, and reduces heat in truck.
