When you say Bubbles? In the overflow bottle, Are you saying it is over heating into the over flow bottle? Or are you looking into the overflow bottle looking for Bubbles? If you want to check for a Head Gasket issue, Take your radiator cap off, Start the truck, Look into your radiator for Bubbles. That is the Exhaust Gasses escaping through the hole in the Head Gasket into the Cooling System and coming up into the Radiator.

When my 2005 had it's Head Gasket issue in boiled over into the overflow bottle twice within a 6 month period. It never showed another problem. I looked into my radiator for bubbles and it took a while and they were small. I had a very small hole in my head gasket. I had the job done around 136,000 miles and now I am just short of 250,000 miles.

Wow, I have never seen anything like that. That thing must have been using a lot of coolant to look that rusty inside the engine unless all that damage was caused by the stop leak.

In all seriousness, the head itself might be. Camshafts are toast. I'd pull both heads, send em out for inspection/cleaning/decking. New cams. VVT gears *might* be okay if they aren't gunked up. Injectors are probably fine. Get a full top end gasket set for each head that comes with injector seals, valve stem seals - the works.

Don't waste your time and or money on the engine, as nasty as the top end looks all that has been running through the bottom end also. Get yourself a good used engine and call it a day.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Yeah, I would not put a dime into that engine.

So the mechanic says "you've blown an engine". To which was replied "hey, keep my personal life outta it".
