    has anybody had the Yota1 shop in Riverbank CA rebuild their 5VZFE?

    if so, what is/was your experience :pccoffee:

    Have you researched what they offer to do?
    I looked through most of what is listed on their website + gave them a call to see how long it would approximately take

    a ++ here it looks like with a Yota1 rebuilt is the complete timing belt & water pump are included along with the new valve cover gasket as well
    both of those items are needed currently on my rig and those are an approximate 2000$ task at the indy shop and likely more at the yota dealershop

    Ordered a rebuilt engine from them last year and installed it once it was done in February. Engine looked great, included gasket kit was very complete. They were great to work with -- willing to give me advice over the phone a couple times and even pulled off an oil nipple I forgot to remove from my core and sent it back to me. Lead time for my engine was 6 months.

    So far the engine has 13k on it and has run just fine.

    I'm sure you could send them your core and have them rebuild your engine but given the lead time I opted to just order one and exchange my old engine once it was done, that way I didn't have an engineless truck for 6 months.
