    So with 512803 km the motor finally packed it in. There are three cam chains on the 4.0L motor one main, then two small ones on each bank of cylinders that goes from the intake cam to the exhaust cam vvt phaser. There was always a tick on the drivers side of the motor, this tick was the lack of telflon on the hydraulic cam chain tensionor and the chain riding on it.

    I needed a truck for work and could not find anyone willing to do this swap. So I pulled out the motor trans and t case as one ☝️

    the T4R is supposed to have 150,000km on the motor so I put the motor and transmission in. The T case is different as the T4r has awd mode
