    Ford used to put a smaller displacement V6 in their 1/2 ton. This engine was discontinued on the F-150 in 2024 same year Toyota stopped offering NA V6 engines in the Tacoma. The 3.3L V6 was rated @ 290hp and 265 ft-lb of torque.

    The 3.5L in the Tacoma is rated @278hp and the same 265 ft-lb of torque.

    The 3.3L can tow a trailer, but most people buying a F-150 would skip right over the NA V6 and go with the 5.0 V8 or 3.5tt V6.

    I think the NA 22-24 Frontiers get a slightly higher tow rating over the 3G Tacomas.

    Very true and it's getting old. We are adults on here. I know 16 year old members that act more mature than some.

    You can always point out intelligent members since they can actually debate without lowering their standards to insults and name calling.

    My Tacoma towed just fine with stock gearing. Now it tows even better with 5.29’s :benchpress::burnrubber:
