Anyones else have their bed crack like this ?

Had... Evidently Toyota felt the composite bed was better, so the 3rd gen Tundra got it.

Or they were 5 sheets of 1 inch 5x10 plywood weighing 625 pounds, lol.

 

This. There's more to the story for sure.

I haul 12 or more 3/4" thick CDX several times a month in the bed
and haul pipe and ladders on a rack. I have yet to crack or break anything,
but I don't really off road, only dirt camp roads.

 

All on rack I've had sheetrock on wheel wells and the mark is just paint . Just happens to be on line of the break. And my rack is a tube rack like everybody has. I was just coming out of my complex went over speedbump really slow10mph and I hear a Crack and I stopped and could still hear cracking and fender was out about 4 inches and I grabbed a tie down and went from top corner to bottom and pulled it back in . Rack never loosened so I can't say it collapsed. Taking it dealer on Thursday. Truck only has 30 k on it. Never offloaded it.

 

These trucks are delicate.

Thanks for the input. I will get myself a set of those brackets. Gonna be hard to get anything out of dealer. Just because I have a rack on it. Is what it is
