    I didn’t notice it, but I also wasn’t really paying attention. I drove it all the way to Missouri and back with the busted bracket, and I just figured it was a bad alternator and power steering pump. It didn’t overheat when I limped it to the mechanic though, and I hadn’t noticed any major coolant loss.

    Apparently they have some of the best handling of any non-performance car ever

    I couldn't believe how much abuse that thing took on 31s lol

    (warning: completely anecdotal)

    my sister had a Honda Fit and that thing probably saw 3 oil changes in the several years she owned it let alone any other regular maintenance and it was still going strong when she traded it in. No idea how except it was about as basic a car as you could have, except it had this weird feature where every time you used the turn signal it would give you a little camera view of your blind spots in the dash display. Like a car that small really needs a feature like that lol

    My buddy had one of these generation fits with the auto, gutless as could be but it served him well for college. Then he promptly got rid of it, heard it got excellent mileage though. Has the usual Honda oil burning issue, but whatever just top em up every so often.

    Having owned two Miata's, yeah they can take a beating

    Here's the old girl, this was my supercharged NA that I used to take to Laguna Seca along with my Bullitt I used to run there was well

    My co worker had just bought an NB when I had my NA (at the dealer I used to work at)

    Worst part? I sold the Bullitt to our detailer (he freaking loved that car) only to wreck it some months later. It had under 100k miles and I had all the documentation for it as well as an original replacement decal for the Bullitt serial#

    @Ozark_RegCab

    I just noticed in one of your screenshots, you were looking at buying from a used car dealer

    I've noticed the 80 and 100 series you had checked out some weeks back for fun were also from used car dealers

    As someone that came from the industry, I would advise against buying from such places - you'll end up in the same situation if not worse than where you are now

    There are few exceptions to this rule, and normally it's when the vehicle is on consignment or if it was an ultra low mileage vehicle they picked up locally (which sometimes does happen)

    Just weighing all my options.
    Car lots ask a premium since they offer financing. They'd probably take 7k if you offered cash.
