    Yea… but at 18, they make conscious decisions to do stupid shit. At 12, they still have that young innocence. Plus, if anything did go wrong, I had my hand on shifter and e-brake. Slap into neutral and pull. I don’t think she ever went above 10mph. But the joy on her face was worth it!!

    Brought back really great memories of my dad teaching me around 10-11. It was a late 80’s Toyota Sr5. Had the 22r I believe with a 5 speed. I had been racing dirt bikes for a couple years so I knew the concept of a clutch… he put me in a grass field and gave me the keys. Slid that bench seat forward and told me have fun. So I gave her some gas and dumped the clutch. Spun tired and within no time… that green field was brown!!

    Just got the truck back. I have working AC. This is the coldest it has blown in years. A few weeks ago when the temperature was pushing 100 it was pure agony. Tomorrow will be a proper test. Money can buy you happiness.
