    @gnarthirty2 @but why tho @nd4spdbh

    Just booked the Buttonwillow Aprilia Racer Days on Oct 21st if any of ya'll were interested in joining. Which will be right after my 2 day weekend at Streets of Willow :boink:

    I did C group, since I don't really want to push or be pushed too much on an unfamiliar bike, and will still be getting familiar with the R6 when not riding an Aprilia.

    I told my wife when my 4Runner dies I'm buying an AWD offroad edition Sienna. Things are badass as hell. 'Bout to go full soccer dad in a few years.

    I wanna do it on my Grom :anonymous: I feel like it'd be more comfortable on the Grom than the F800GS, somehow.. 1/3rd of the weight even if the suspension is way worse.

    I'm definitely not there, ha.

    Transit/Sprinter would be my style.

    I've seen Groms running some dual sports before, always entertaining.

    “Off road” but yeah, their woodland edition. AWD, lift kit, inverter in the back, these sick middle row recliners and “sport” seats up front. Middle of the pack expensive-wise. Limited and platinums are still more. They’ve had it since 2022 so my hope is in a few years I can find a used one.

    Haha you are fiiine!

    Mine gets used a lot but sadly I'm having issues with it... I got away from my Ford because of transmission issues and my Tacoma has done some odd shifting months ago but then stopped and I didn't notice it but now it's doing it more frequently... So now I'm fearing oh great I left one with a warranty and a bad trans to an old one with also a bad trans!

    that's frustrating. i assume you've already done a drain and fill to be safe?

    FWIW, the transmission in my Tacoma is from a different truck. My original one got torched after my first desert excursion, I had them put in a lightly used one with about 30k miles on it and it's been running strong. Still a hassle to deal with, but an option.

    Nice! TBH I think that minivan would be better as a tow rig for track days and for skiing than my current Forester. I could sleep in the back way easier and get much better MPG while being more reliable.

    Too bad it's like $40k though. :D

    Also I don't know if I can live without a manual transmission right now. I'm going to keep my Forester for however long I can.

    No I haven't the old owner did yes but unsure of how long ago it was I was just told it was done. I'm going to do a drain and fill to see if that fixes the issues but it feels just like my ranger did..

    It's basically not shifting well... I can be on the highway cruising but need to accelerate to get around someone and I can feel it sometimes shift or try and load the truck down but it just revs and feels like a slush box... Today I was leaving a stop light and just rolling onto the throttle and it was stuck in first gear and I thought huh I haven't felt it shift and it's getting louder and looked down and it was at 4500 rpm and had to let off the gas and let it coast to allow it to shift... After that it felt like slush but then worked it self out...

    I saw a grom and the Kawi version of it loaded down with camping gear and doing section 2. They passed me camping on Bethel a few years back. They're so small and light, the monkey guys had a blast. Said they were super easy to ride on that terrain, way easier than expected. and if things get a lil sketch, stand up and let it go, haha.
