Thanks! Next up is the RTT portion. I'm a little nervous for that one, lots of sewing that I don't know anything about.

Remounted the WeBoost inside the cap, yes I know not the best design and will end up back on the roof once I figure out the roof rack situation. Just didn't want it sitting on the shelf for several months until that happens . Is it effective? In field test mode no WeBoost -115dBm, WeBoost on with widows closed -107dBm and windows open -96dBm. According to chatGPT a 10 -20 point improvement in dBm can be the difference in making a call or not. I'll take it for now.

There is also this option for not more cost than the Cali Raised: Toyota Utility Track T-Nut (4-Pack) (hondogarage.com)

They fit in where you want them without having to take everything else out of the rail.

I think that's the GM repair bill barter system, since GM junk breaks all the time. Just pick a part off and barter for the needed repair. :anonymous:

That is the one I used, was easy to install. I also filled the ends of the screws with silicone caulking just to make a bit harder to remove.

Dropped off the camper shell to get painted. Truck looks a lot better than I remember with it off.

I got the rack installed today. I don't know if yours is as high as mine. Seems like when Realtruck took over Backrack they made it a couple inches taller. Hopefully not too much windage up there... I found the J brackets you mentioned, and will put the tool box in today.

I have very minimal to zero wind noise but it is tall I’ll give ya that. I’m used to it now though. I like the look. Just staring at it when I had just installed it made me think it was too tall. Also apologies for forgetting to get those hardware pics haha.

Hey, no worries, about the pics, I knew what you were talking about and found the right J hooks. Glad you thought it was a bit tall, makes me feel better haha. I guess I'll get used to it too. Glad to hear there's minimal wind noise. Haven't taken a spin on the hwy yet. I'll post a pic when I put the tool box back on, I think it will look sharp.

    This and that
I’ve had some splash guards that a member made and they are pretty beat up. It’s been about 1.5-2 years with them and while the coverage was amazing they eventually tore and I ripped off the drivers side two days ago. Got on the interwebs, found these, 2 days later, here they are IMG_1635.jpgthey look “over- engineered” which for us Tacoma world residents is the way. IMG_1636.jpgThick plastic like mudflaps. Stiffish. Can’t wait to get them in.
