I waited for 18 months for a Bronco before the need for a new vehicle pushed me to buy my Tacoma. I still really like the Bronco, but with no base/Sasquatch option anymore, combined with how much I like my SR, I’m probably out of the Bronco market permanently. Really cool vehicle though!!

Oh yea they are cool. For the bronco the the lowest trim now for 24s is the big bend starts at $34k. I was really lucky enough to get a base sas. Because the one I have is someone else’s build that they backed out of. Hope your truck is still treating you well and lasts you a lifetime!

    An unhealthy amount
It's been a semi fun learning experience, but at this point I don't think I'm ever gonna do this much to another rig again lol. And this has yet to include the fox suspension that I'll be ordering at the end of this month. I expect the new total to sit around $34K~$35k.:jpow:

$24k and counting, $77k total including truck, tax, warranty. Purchased 1.5yrs ago. The nice thing is the truck is paid off this month and all the mods are paid for. I keep telling myself no more mods! Then I do an impulse buy for something questionable like for example recently ROAM cases I'll use 2-3 times a year and an OTT tune. If I didn't do all the installs myself I imagine the $24k would be 2X that so at least I have that working in my favor. I feel like there might of been better vehicle choices if I knew I'd be spending $77k, but I don't like to think about it.

I calculated about $5K on my purchases...then stopped.

Once I get my Diamondback Tonneau cover, I'll be at about $7K+.

All my stuff is paid off...and I'm saving for my DB Cover.

Most recent photos from this past Sunday in Smyrna, DE.

Future plans: new wheels/tires when I reach 50K+ miles...I just turned 30K+ in 39 months.

My truck is taking a well deserved rest at the minute. I'm happy with where it's at.

My current sights are on what childish stupidity I can make out of this thing.

    PXL_20240720_192937192.jpg

... After I rebuild savings from all the storm damage deductibles I just paid out, of course. :anonymous:

... And also buy new floors for the things I decided to not report to insurance. :anonymous::anonymous:

After that. Then it's back to stupid.

Dude. You even got the color Miata I’m gonna get. Killer. You can turn that little dial on the the center console from a 3 to an 8 on the stupid spectrum — EASY!

Like, did the milkmaidcore seats come with?

    Nope. Those are covers.

So far the big purchases were the covers plus tuxmat floor liners (so I don't feel bad about climbing in after a day working the cement plant), and also something called "tall boy's magic" (custom seat lowering rails).

Oh, and I replaced the dash USB box for a carplay module.

The little things are a weighted shift knob and go-fast stickers from cravenspeed. And also 3d printed fangs. :anonymous:

I'm debating on tuning it, but it's twitchy enough stock. If Scrappy Doo were a car, he'd be a Miata.

I love a good sunk cost fallacy when it comes to mods. I’ve already spent “X” amount, might as well spend “Y” lol. That’s how I try to justify it to the wife at least

My wife established a folder for me to contribute/accumulate funds until I have enough to make the DB Tonneau Cover buy.

She enjoys managing monies for all our monthly budgets...this gets her involved with supporting my purchase...win/win!!!

A friend has a wife who once worked as an investment counselor. She managed his exorbenant computer contractor income into a fully-paid house in 2 states (IN and FL) and a Porsche. He does not complain about that.

Maybe I should advise him to buy a Tacoma and join TW ...
