Had an appt to get an alignment today since I replaced in/outer tie rods. Showed up and they tried to charge me $260 instead of the normal $100 because I’m lifted. Insane

They can't find one because I'm in the middle of fucking no where.
I was behind it in Foley and able to radio ahead when I saw smoke and flames....
YESSS! I wrote that off as a one off but I can tell you I will never rent from these guys again. Can't be a coincidence right?
Spectacular really. I'm shook by it.
Again. My batting average is 100% with U-Hauls trailers. The fact it failed the SAME way is insane. Or telling about how they maintain their equipment. Have several things book the next couple days that I will probably have to move. Oh and today's plan was to avoid SLC traffic by getting in late... Now that is ruined. They will bring me a trailer between 9-5 tomorrow...

@m3bassman Sounds like you just need to invest in your own trailer. :notsure: You can easily pull the Taco around on adventures and off load when/where you want. Trailer queens are where its at. Plus you have the Camper/Tow Pig all in one. And wont have to worry about bearings leaving the chat on the next move/breakdown

Sorry about your luck with the trailers!

I’m guessing you are getting off I15 at Spanish and going over Soldier Summit through Price to Moab and Monticello, right?

I know you’re already behind schedule, but try to enjoy the drive through Cortez and Shiprock and the Big Res. It’s incredibly beautiful, and once you get to Farmington, it’s pretty drab and boring. ABQ is much better with the Sandias right there.

ETA: I grew up in Southern Utah and my mom’s family is from Farmington, so we did that drive A LOT haha.

Good luck and safe(er) travels the rest of the way!
