I called one other shop and they said they don;t work on antyhing over 20 years old. Like ok, you'd rather work on a clapped out 2012 Altima than a cool 90s Toyota?

when I had the Cruiser, I couldn't even find a shop that knew what the PHH was. I stg most of these "master techs" are just glorified parts changers.

 

Well they're not gonna know that by its forum name, pesky heater hose, but circle it on a cooling system diagram and they can figure the rest out im sure. Or just tell em to replace EVERY heater hose.

 

this place said they'd look at it. I'd just have to eat $200 in towing and diagnostic fees.

You should really have AAA, $100 a year gets you 200mi of towing

 

I tried to point it out and they didn't even seem to believe there'd be a heater hose there.

 

I have them but it's only 5 miles of free towing I think.

 

plus free jump starts and shit like locking your keys in

don't need it til you do then it's money and time saved

 

Pay the $100 a year instead of the $30 or $50 lol
