Just got a set of General Grabber ATX's for my 2008 Tacoma, great tires, they look even better than my AT2's and handle better.
Sorry I'm just old school with the white lettering, I think it looks really sharp! So bring on the snow, I'm ready!!

Looks great. Yup raised white letters work. I wish there were more choices still around. The double lined letter was always my choice back when.

It's a little harder keeping them clean, but not too bad. I actually use Eco Lab heavy duty citrus degreaser, it smells better.

There aren't too many that I found.

I love the raised white letters too, those are sharp! In a couple of brands that have the option of RWLs and Black sidewalls in the same size and rating, the white letter versions weigh like 2 more pounds per tire for some reason. Both Toyo AT3, and Cooper Discoverer are the specific ones I’ve noticed. I wonder if that’s always the case or just coincidence in a small sample size. Maybe someone who knows about tire manufacturing could chime in

White lettering screams "1987 NASCAR" really loud, esp. when it's split 50/50 across the tire diameter.

I go so far as to use a black industrial marker to black out the white lettering on my Yokohamas because white lettering is all they had in stock at the time I was tire shopping.

Why didn’t you just face them the other way?

You know... that's a very good question...

It took quite a long while to hand-color-in every single letter on 4 tires...

I guess when I was mounting them, I figured "the white side is supposed to face out," even though in fact they are not directional tires & don't care which side is out.

They were probably screaming "1987 Nascar" so load he couldn't reason. Using a marker made more
