Good afternoon y'all! So I got a BD s8 light bar for the FJ and have it wired to the existing ch4x4 switch. My question is, what do I hook the red and green wire that controls the backlight to? I'm finding varying answers.
To ch4x4 switch complete.


For backlight on the light bar. Where do these tie into? I don't want to use a toggle to turn the backlight on that came with the harness. I want them to come on when I cut my parking light on. @Baja Designs

I'm sitting here thinking about getting rid of my G44, 12ga, 300 BLK, AR10(build), G48 MOS and all other shit

I've almost convinced myself to get down to a G43X with 48 in MCK chassis, G22(that I cut down to 19 sized frame with 9mm conversion barrel), EPC-9, AR15 and that's it.

 

Do It ! im pretty much good for now. I want an AK 9mm but im going to wait lol. Just built 2 AR's that were $$$. lol

 

I'm trying to dwindle down.

 

Ive got one 16", 14.5" and one 10.3" AR. Then a glock 19 and glock 43x. Looking to add a Walther PDP pro but im waiting on that and the AK.

 

I used one of the quick connectors and tapped into a green wire off the stock buttons. This is useful info thank you.

 

I called BD. Use the green wire to connect to OEM lights for the backlight option. The red wire is not used

 

I think I want to cut down to 5 total.

 

I’ve got another 16inch upper with a LPVO on it sitting in safe. It’s just waiting for a lower

 

I put a Vortex Strikefire with magnifier on my AR years ago. I have always wanted to try a LVPO. Just never did it when I had the extra monies
