I have ridden maybe 100 miles all year

 

However! I did just get a whole CASE of oil and 3 oil change kits. So that is probably about to change. But now its hurricane season and we’re gonna get all the rain that the past two month drought robbed us of

 

damn! even ive done more then that on my old klx(drz) but she is now long gone!

 

I would love to find an old KLX/DRZ to restore and build into a monster someday

 

I mean you got a Drz! Time to build it lol. Especially since the Drz hasn't changed since 01 lol

I sold my 03 klx400 and bought a 2023 klx300r since I wanted a better dirtbike.

 

16,000 mile oil change completed. I did not do the oil screen this time, i’ll get it next time.

 

Is the new one fuel injected? I’d say thats the only real “improvement” over what you had i’m a drz fanboi

 

Yes fuel Injected and lighter, better gear ratio better suspension. It's leaps and bounds better then the old dinosaur lol

glad you got the 300, i rode a CRF250L when they came out and it was an absolute dawg. So heavy and so slow.

 

Yaaa the crf250l is awful haha. The klx300 isn't that fast either but the r model with less weight feels like the perfect amount of power for trails which is a lot of fun! For street ID agree it's prob not enough power.

To be fair, the clock is so miserable to reset that 9/10x its wrong and i ignore it

the lap timer, i’ve never used unless i turned it on by accident.

additionally, any time i’ve ever let someone else ride it, they couldnt figure out how to even reset the trip meeter after getting fuel, its annoying to remember the button sequence

ive been looking at videos on how to remove the stupid button power switch on my new klx.. i want a key damnit! turns out super easy!

 

Does it have a key fob instead of an actual key?!!
