If there was a job as a waiter (not tables, just....waiting) my experience would land me a job in 5 minutes.

    Congrats @PzTank !!!

Go git yerself sum lottery tickets cause today is yer lucky day!!! :notsure:

First we have some decor tips fer yer new place!!!

    1. Fridge goes on the front porch
    2. Couch...also goes on the front porch

Now that we've cleared that up, let's get started!!!

Yer first prize is a half set of earplugs!!! Thats right ol buddy!! This hear:rolleyes: earplug is pre-lubed and ready fer installation!! Just chunk it in yer ear, put a finger in the other ear and let yer wife figure out how to hang yer new curtains!! (No curtains will be sent to you from the wearhouse, we aint got any).

Yer fourth prize is a dented can of tuna flavered cat food!!! Fer a cat!! Tuna!!! You cant go wrong with this prize!!! (The can has a slight hole in it but you aint eatin it so what's it matter?)

And yer second prize is....a slightly rusted pull cord for a ceiling fan!!! Its a great day when we dish out prizes of this caliber!!! You can spray paint it to match yer home interiors or just roll with the attractive patina thats already growing on it!!!

    Enjoy!!!!

We would say the same thing when I use to build bank vaults and install the drive through equipment.

Well I got another email from that car dealership, they’ve come down another $1000 on that tundra. If I can squeeze em for another 1500 I might just have to bite.

The fellow I bought the car from gave me a huge bag of KC BBQ takeout - 1 dinner, 1 lunch.
I refilled my water bottles at the motels.

How is the motel popcorn nowadays? Not like a gas station hot dog I hope!

I stayed in the Super 8 in Greenfield, Ind twice, it was clean & quiet.

The popcorn was fresh and hot made in a real popper and the breakfast buffet (included) was excellent as well.

Was stormy so we didn’t go to the football game, lit brush pile instead. About an hour and it was down to not a whole lot. I pushed it up with the skid steer a couple times then mowed around it.

    Lightning:

At the old job, almost shut down for the day we heard a tremendous clap of thunder that sounded right outside the building. Went to investigate and found...

    FIRE!

    :censored:,:censored:,:censored: !!!

Fortunately there were several of us there, we emptied half a dozen extinguishers and got it out.

We followed a burn path - apparently the strike was close enough to the building that an arc came in on a spray booth exhaust fan duct.

    Very thankful we were:
    1) in the building
    2) so close when it happened

If not that would have turned bad real fast.

Here is something neat I saw on the Wednesday road trip.

    KIMG4374.jpg

This too, kind of a poor photo, the best my phone can do at that distance at night.

This is a gas well drilling rig.

    KIMG4380.jpg

I live right in the middle of the Marcellus Shale that was in the news a few years ago.
Back then the industry was booming, then it all went away - creeping back in lately.

that's got it's own problems... and while the comment sections on youtube video's are generally wild, some of the similar stories don't disappoint either.
