Just called my local DT they claim they have not heard about this tire and cannot order it.

Per Yokohama's website, these are now called the "Geolandar AT/4" no longer called the "Geolandar A/T G018", they do not seem to be replacing the G015, just a slightly more aggressive tread pattern. I plan to get a set when I use up the Duratracs I currently have.

For those of you who run/have run the G015s: Do you have the P or the LT version of the tire and how happy are you with it? I think im going to just get the G015 as I cant go much further on my current tires and I have a credit with DT. Thanks in advance!

I ran a set of P265/70R16 on the tacoma, changed them out at about 40K miles of roadwear, could have gotten more had I not been running them over-inflated. They have about 1/16" of tread in the middle left and maybe 1/8 or 5/32" at closer to the edge of the tread.

I ran a set on my jeep before getting the tacoma. My favorite AT tire for a daily driver. They did great in rain and snow and were very quiet and comfortable.

I have run duratracs and cooper discoverer AT/3s before that. Kind of hate duratracs to be honest, noisy as hell, need to be rotated every 2,500-3,000 miles or they get obnoxiously noisy, and their performance on wet roads was garbage, and they only did good in snow they could dig into, anything hard packed, slush, etc... and they were mediocre. But they do look cool as hell.

I plan to run another set of G015s on my factory wheels and the G018s on the TRD Baja wheels. Will probably get P rated tires considering I have yet to load the tacoma with anything super heavy, so why not save money and get a smoother ride.

Running G015s now about 6-8K miles on them. Excellent tire all around, very good in heavy rain & standing water on the roadway, very good on dry & rocky single-track forest trails, very good at high speed on clean dry asphalt.

My truck is medium-heavy, running at about +650-700 lbs beyond stock curb weight, and I occasionally load it with as much as 1700 additional lbs of cargo and/or landscaping debris. (FOX 2.5s on all 4 corners + heavy Deaver U402 III leafs on back make this possible & comfortable to do.) Tires are fine with this, I sometimes inflate them as high as 40 PSI for heavy loads. (Max PSI listed on sidewall is, I believe, 51 PSI.)

We will see how tread-wear goes, just by "look and feel" I think they're probably a pretty soft compound and will be more likely to do 38-42K miles, rather than 55-60K miles. (Going by the legal standard for tread wear limit in CA, which is 4/32s for the front tires, and 2/32s for rear tires.)

My theory is that Yokohama calls the P rated G018, the CV4S.

Right, oops, you asked what rating in your earlier post.

    P-rated, stock size, P265/70/R16.

I just pulled the trigger on a set of these in LT285/75/16. They appear to be the perfect tire for my needs. The previous iterations of Yokohama’s all terrains were just a tad too mild for me, I think these will fit the bill.

I’ll let you all know how they ride once I get them mounted, it will probably be a week or two.

Simple Tire and they were $246 a piece.

Crazy cheap for a 33” tire from a reputable company. Under $1K for all 4. I believe they’re running a Labor Day sale so I snagged them while they’re on sale.

So a bit of an update. I placed my order with Simple Tire on Saturday and the tracking labels haven’t been created yet. I’ve ordered 3 sets of tires from them previously, and the tires arrived at my house within 2 days of placing the order each of those times.

I contacted their customer service to see if they could just give me an ETA for the tires shipping, and the customer service rep said they are going to “check with the warehouse” and then send me an email.

If you’re planning on ordering these from Simple Tire, I would wait until I get an answer because I’m starting to suspect they took my money and don’t actually have them in stock. My online account with them says that the tires have been “pulled off the shelf” and are waiting to ship but this wait time is highly unusual for them based on my previous experiences. I also checked and noticed I can’t find this size of this tire in stock anywhere else, which makes me more suspicious.

I’ll update when I hear back from them.

Well I never heard back from Simple Tire so I contacted them again today and I was told that my order has been reassigned to a new warehouse and “should ship today”. If I don’t get confirmation that they ship today I think I will probably just cancel the order so I can get my money back. I’ll let you guys know if they actually wind up having these in stock.

I called my local Discount Tire yesterday to get a price quote. they were having a hard time tracking down a set of 265/70-17s. They found 2 on TireRack.com but there was no lead on when a full set would be available. I was looking for a new set of tires before November. Keeping my fingers crossed in hoping Yokohama gets these out to the market by then.

Im not even going to lie, I recommend the MT AT SL all the time. I personally am looking for a E tire and the MT AT Es are past the weight I am willing to go with.
