Ran over a fat nail with a new tire, about 10k mi. Two shops say it's not repairable

    I too carry a plug kit with tools (pliers and things to dig or unscrew whatever is in the tire) and pump . Never have I had a problem plugging a tire. Plug it and move on!

    I read so many ridiculous questions on here, I thought the oil change theme made it serious. :eek:

    Apparently, I'm a little too focused on work as well... :cheers:

    On a serious note, years ago, I had a tire patched (from the inside) and after a year or so, it started leaking again. This was long before I knew about plugs.
