What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally got my TRD supercharger installed, also picked up some Goodyear Wrangler silent armor tires with a revtec spacer lift, may not be the best lift but it looks good so suck it. P.S. Supercharger best addition ever, just have to paint intercooler and rims black now, might as well get the headlights while i'm at it.

 

washed all this crap off.

 

I decided to do some of the cheap free mods today.

The first one was the anytime locker mod. I tested it out about fifteen times and it worked great with no issues. Here is the link to the one I used.

Thanks to everyone who has posted the How to's for everyone to copy . It sure makes working on, modifying, and tinkering with our trucks a lot easier and more enjoyable.

 

Finally got them in. I am happy I put them in at 2.5 vice 1.75. They settled a little bit and I like the look, I also have the TSB aal.

yesterday i took my tacoma into the dealership for the 5k maintenance...also had them check out the rear suspension for "harsh" ride.... few hours later, they called me back and said if i want to get the TSB done, they'll order the parts... they also mentioned that if i do this TSB, the ride is not going to be as smooth as it is right now... it will be a bit stiffer and bumpier.... i figured, that's fine because im trading smoothness for stiffness while under load. needless to say, my appointment is in 2weekends from now and they'll program my key and remote for free!

 

Just got her all cleaned up.

 

Sport Grill, BHLM, paint-matched eyelids, magnaflow muffler and finally removed the stupid throttle body spacer that was in it when I bought my Taco. Damn... now it doesn't whistle...

 

Clay bar, Meguiars Ultimate Compound and two coats of Rejex

 

Like glass! Man I wish I had the patience to do that!

 

Thanks John! Only 4.5 hours or work for the whole truck, less the roof b/c of the rack! Some Sunshine and a few beers makes me pretty patient!

 

Spent the whole morning doing the cab mount chop and pinch weld mod.

 

Fresh wash and wax, just picked up after the Snuglid SL was installed along with
5% tints rear windows and 20% fronts.

 

put my wet okoles on finally

 

Rattle Canned the Bed, cleaned out the bed of the truck, 3 cans of spray adhesive and 4 cans of Rustoleum Bed Liner from Home Depot.

I tested the tailgate last night and it held up pretty good. Taped off the floor of the bed today and sprayed the shit out of it.

No pics yet but it looks pretty good to me so far. If it starts to chip then i will just get a bed mat. It wasn't to bad of a job, got plenty of sun and had several beers!!!!!!


Next, painting the fog lights yellow with Krylon Stained Glass "orange" paint. Anybody have new pics of this??? (yes, i already searched")

 

gave the lady a nose job. in hind sight i probably shouldve painted the screws holding the mesh on.

I washed my Taco... That sounded weird...

 

Oil change and cabin air filter. I think I may have waited a little too long to change the cabin air, look at the difference.

 

Gave mine a bath and did some under the hood detailing.
