Yes, and a good friend of mine used to stress me out when we were just looking to get a couple sites at Governor Dodge or maybe Devil's Lake many years ago for family camping trips. "I'll just get there at 7am and grab a couple of the non-reservable sites." Somehow it always worked out, but I'm older and I need to know!

 

In my dinky south side Milwaukee suburb of St Francis, Labor Day weekend is always when we do St Francis Days, our local city festival. My good friend Nick who several of you have met, and his whole family have been very much involved with making the whole festival a success for many years. If anyone in the area has no plans tomorrow night, I'll be down there supporting the community with my beer purchases and would be thrilled to see you.

I have a great friend, headliner of a band called Learning to Fly, playing tomorrow at 6:30 too. They're a Tom Petty tribute band and a fun show to see. Come down and have a beer!

Wow, that's just brutal on the battery and alternator! Although, we're probably not pulling anywhere near full load most of the time.

 

I was actually talking about the amount of physical pulling weight.

 

That is brutal. Guess that's why a min 660CCA battery is required.

Buy a winch for double your vehicle weight. Mud is a killer because of the suction. You are correct that most of the time it is just a bump that we need; however, I tend to make things difficult for my winch and myself...

Better to have a 12 or 13k and not use full capacity than to run a 9500 maxxed out.
