Little project I’ve been working on: acquire a tier 5/6 four roses SBBS private selection in each of the recipes minus the herbal Fs. Two distiller’s selects among them. I have 7/8 with the 8th recipe in a tier 3 courtesy of @jandrews.

One of these days I’ll do some blind tasting with the neighborhood bourbon group and see what wins. The couple that are open are very, very good.

Something fun about these is they’re from stores all over the country: two from the distillery in KY, one from
N FL, one from S FL, and one each from MA, TX, MI, and NC. The 7 high tiers are also all 120 proof plus…proving that tier does matter.

I have this same line up, couple of store picks too like you. I think there is one more bottle if I remember, a finished whiskey that seems impossible to find.

I’ve never heard of a finished four roses product but they have a yearly limited edition that blends a number of older barrels, it’s hard to find.

Oh you were talking about 1792 lol. Yeah there’s a few others. High rye, port finished, ridgemont reserve or whatever it’s called…those are all stupid expensive now and I’ll never own them…

port finished and high rye recipe are the other two missing, supper hard to get and expensive. Not worth the chase IMO

I quoted your 1792 pic… looks like @JoeySauce answered the question below. Those were what I was thinking of.
