Lots of shots fired, the cops are out there placing markers right now on casings. There are about 40 markers.

The worst part about it, is that the playground and the picnic tables my kids were at are inline with the shots fired. So there is a hill the shooters were on, they shot at the basketball court, and my kids were on the other side of the court, so stray shots went their way.

But from my limited gun knowledge, and just comparing sounds from my dashcam, it sounds like they fired off 2 full clips from a full auto glock 19.

Yeah, seeing all the kids running in every direction is scary. Thats actually a really good idea for the kits and something I might put into my truck.

I remember growing up it was “don’t talk to strangers or help them look for their lost puppy”. Now these kids are almost growing up in a combat zone or the fear of it breaking out anywhere at any time.

I built the kits for around $100 each, you can also get prebuilt kits for around the same cost. The kits I made are a stand alone from the other first aid kit I have in the truck that I keep behind the back seat, this kit is kept on the molle panel on the passenger side of the center console. It’s made to be a quick access “stop the bleed” deal. I figure it could help in a car accident or any other trauma event.

I was just talking to my kids the other day about shootings. We had school open house and a big storm was rolling in, I asked if they had tornado drills, the kids said "no, we do active shooter drills now"

Dude, the whole situation sucks and I’m sorry for the victims, your kids, your family, and the neighborhood. That said, how do you have limited gun knowledge but you can identify not just the sound of a 9mm (or any other round) but also the specific model of handgun used? Also, please let me know where to get a “full auto” handgun.

edit: 9mm implied since you mentioned Glock 19
    edit 2: “clip”?

A little late to the party, but I found a milk crate works perfect for holding regular size (20 lb?) propane tank. You have to use real milk crates, not the "storage" crates you buy in the store. Tank fits perfect/tight and keeps it from tipping over, etc. Takes up a bit less floor space than the plastic bases, holds tank better, can use for other stuff, and free. I use them when I put tanks in my camping trailer storage area or back of truck. Not sure where I got my crates, but probably lifted from behind a grocery store somewhere.

They make auto switches for Glocks, an easy conversion but illegal. They are all over the east coast. You know he also meant magazine when he said clip.

I trimmed the video and sent it into the news, they were able to blur the kids so I am comfortable posting it here now.
