I’ve had this TH for 1 day and I love it. Smooth and powerful. The only thing that sucks about it is the internet seems to despise it. But in real life it’s great.

random question for OP - I heard the TH/PRO have thicker glass for sound deadening - is that BS?

Was expecting a solid 1700 lbs since has the Tundra rear in it, iirc the Tundras are around 1800 lbs.

Yeah, don’t really need all the stuff the TH comes with, was more concerned with payload since it is looking that I will be putting a camper on it. Was thinking the TH could be an option with the higher payload, but doesn’t look it will be.

Looking at everything from mid sizes, 1/2-1 tons and Sprinters. Weighing the pros and cons of each platform for what I need it to do.

Yes, comes with double pane front driver and passenger glass. Nice and quiet. TW is not the real world. People come here just to pile on.

Why would it have been a higher payload on the same frame? This is not hard.

That and post about serious issues. Yea, they're out there, but the reality of it is it's very slim. Any 4th gen owner I've talked to in person loves the truck and hasn't had any issues.

There can be serious issues. Ones to watch. But have to wait out the hysterics and the bad faith actors and see which is real. Lots of noise. I was initially annoyed, now just bored of it.

I thought about making a drinking game out of it, but I'd be shitfaced before the first thread page is over

Yeah not sure, ask the engineers. All my recent research, unsure if the Tacoma is going to work. Tundra with the available 32 gal tank and higher payload might be. Swinging by Toyota next week, will have to take a closer look at the door jam stickers than what at it says on the website.

The TH sure is a nice truck, enjoy it.

Exactly. I keep asking myself why I don’t hate the truck. Reading any YouTube or TW comments you’d think this thing is garbage. Might the the smoothest nicest truck I’ve ever driven . And can’t wait to let it rip on my Texas ranch.

OP what kind of range are you getting on a full tank? I just filled up and it says 267 miles which is way too low the mileage I’m getting .. any idea why

    Haven't filled up yet.

18 gallon gas tank is why. One of my beefs. They just had to cross the exhaust over to the driver side leaving less room for a gas tank. Cause reasons.

They had to spend all that time trimming weight off a tailgate to later add it back with a motor. For reasons.

They had to add a thief magnet center speaker. For reasons.

    Still, I love the truck.

Kind of funny I think this truck is ridiculous, but I love it as well

Does it have the Tundra rear axle? I know it’s bigger than the non-hybrid but the LC axles are smaller than the GX - which have a much higher tow rating. Does Toyota have three different rear ends for the TNGFA?

OP stated it did while he was checking ground clearance.

OP, do you think 285/70/18 (about 33.7”) will require removing that safety crash component in the front wheel well

Any hybrid owners notice the electrical tape in the engine bay and just generally under the truck is coming apart instantaneously? What gives?

Big beautiful screen. No rattles, squeaks, or whistles inside the interior. Feels like one unit. Big beautiful screen. Big beefy dials. Big beautiful screen. Easy tactile HVAC switches. Big beautiful screen. HUD is kinda cool. Big beautiful screen. Layout is like it sprung from my brain. Ya' know this has a big beautiful screen. It is big. It is beautiful. It is a screen.

This is new to me. My 3G seat rails endcaps were lost very early on. The never stayed put as one's feet swept them away. This one has tabs that lock them in place:

The aero valence between cab and bed makes its reappearance. The gap seems smaller and the valence not as wide:

Don't know You can try it out and let us know. I am doing a compression test on mine as soon as it cools down. Keeping my fingers crossed.
