Congrats. My daughter went into labor on Labor day 2008, was sent home and gave birth the next day. He will be 16 tomorrow. Prayers for a safe and healthy birth.

Congratulatulations to soon to be Grandpa and family!
Funny my oldest is 37 today and youngest turns 34 tomorrow. All this time I never associated the labor into the Labor Day, at least that type of labor. There was a lot of labor involved with the oldest too. I was lucky to be there happened to pull into port and was pulling in the driveway as the neighbor was pulling out with his mother headed to the hospital. Sept 1 is the start of hunting season of one type or another and my mind is usually in the woods then. Just like it is right now.

For 29 years I worked Labor Day. It wasn't so bad though. I had 2 swim facilities to manage, and Labor Day was the end of the season. We would be closed on the Tuesday after, but I'd go in anyway, shut off the pumps and start draining the damn things before anyone had a chance to change their mind.

My wife always wanted a pool. I told her to take it up with her next husband.

BTW, my dad would have been 108 today
