Just truly amazing how our doggos are!
Everyone here has some awesome companions!
I’d like to like all the posts.

I’m so glad we were able to be together.
If the wife and I were to split I’d fight like hell for him!

 

Just went out for a walk.
About half/3/4 mile.
He was so freakin happy it makes me smile!
We live in the city and he knows when we meet someone he needs to move to the grass and sit!
Met a guy asked if he could give him a treat. I said sure but he probably won’t take it. He didn’t and the guy gave it to me. I gave it to Buckley and he ate it.
Buckley just turned 9 and internet says boxer/husky expectancy is 8-10.
I’m already sad thinking about that day!
He has truly been one of the best friends I’ve had!
He was going to the pound about 4 yrs ago we knew him and I said no bring him to me! I’m so freaking glad he’s here!
Wife wasn’t happy she didn’t know.
She’s glad he’s here now also.
Glad I didn’t have to choose!
My daughter’s fiancé trains dogs and yes they behave but not what I want.
He’s allowed to be him and he’s amazing!

Cookie woke up having a bad hair day

 

Your dog makes me laugh out loud! What a great looking little monster! My childhood friend had a mutt that looked a lot like Cookie. Only dog I’ve ever met that could reliably close the distance between squirrels and trees. Hazel is a little over 6 months.

 

Cookies nickname is Cookiemonster.... Love your dog too

 

i layed down some sod in the backyard for the dogs to run around on. they love it

 

But how do they know? A doorbell on TV that is not our doorbell, and that my dog has never associated with someone being at our door will send him into guard dog mode at the front door.

 

Tessa does the same with doorbells and people knocking. Good thing Big Bang Theory doesn't have new episodes!

 

Ours learn the notification of sound of our security cameras. The front door, back yard, and driveway all make the same sound on my phone but they all think it means someone is at the front door. Fortunately they don't really get too worked up. I change the notification sound every few months and get a few weeks of peace.

 

Anything/One turning onto our gravel road or someone walking by on the state hwy. 400ft away from the house she sounds off

 

Apparently my dogs can tell the difference but I can't. Heard a doorbell and went to check the door yesterday, dogs were not interested. Nobody there. It came from the TV.
