Back from the dead and trying to catch up.

It only took 4 months after getting rear-ended but the tailgate finally arrived and is installed. Woo hoo!!

 

Went to the store to get oil to do the oil change now I don't feel like doing shit

 

Truck is looking good.

 

The Costco was jammed this morning. Should have figured with the holiday coming up. I left the wife at home and took the grandson so we were able to maneuver through the crowded store quickly. Think demolition derby.

 

KB Vodoo bedsides and rhino rack roof rack installed for the batwing. Had to relocate my gas cans.

Got to reorganize my bed drawers and got the water spots off the windshield and bodywork.

I guess the sanding dust was still on the truck when it got rained on and those wouldn’t come off using “conventional” methods. Had to use water spot remover.

might mess with the awning on Monday but for today, I am done.

Car was a bust , paint had some runs, doors not covered well, door/fender fitment was off. To much money for what was there.

 

That's a bummer.

 

Ended up doing exactly what I said I was gonna do. Nothing. But migraine isn't helping me today either

It sucks when you travel a long way and the item isn't what it was made out to be. I went through that with a boat and trailer years ago. Guy swore the trailer was ready for the 5 hour trip home but the dry rotted tires wouldn't have made it far at all.
